William Ronald Haslam

Ronnie was married to Delores Blincoe Haslam for 19 years and made their home in Oakdale, CA.
Ronnie was born in Oakdale. His birth parents were William Haslam and Pauline Collins. Stepparents were William Collins and Betty Haslam. His siblings are June Daniels (Terry) of Modesto, Dorothy Yeary of Modesto and Michael Collins (deceased). His cousin Cecelia Barclay lives in Salida.
The family moved from Oakdale to Modesto in 1954. He loved their horses and working on cars. After graduating from Modesto HS, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. He served in Vietnam. Ronnie was discharged in 1967 due to injury. He then worked in construction before going to work at TVG as a mechanic.
Ronnie was the proud father of Ronnie (Mary), Eddie (Lenore) and Bobby Haslam (deceased) and stepfather to Darla (deceased), Linda, Bud and Jackie, who he also loved and treated as his own.
Ronnie had approximately 8 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews & friends, who all adored him. Ronnie was extremely proud of his family's accomplishments in their lives.
He enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing and the family get togethers, where he was the life of the party. At home he loved watching old western movies. Ronnie was a member of E Clampus Vitus, Chapter 58. After retirement he enjoyed going to the Chicken Ranch Casino.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 18th, 2018 at 1pm at the Oakdale Memorial Chapel. Ronnie will be buried near his parents in Oakdale. The family will hold a celebration of his life.
